About Us
Care Matters was founded by Columbus, Ga., natives and sisters, Sue Beth Bunn and Melissa Hargett.
The idea to form this company stemmed from the family’s own need for a
dependable caregiver. After the death of their mother, their grandmother
required daily care, as did Sue Beth's small child. After using several
care agencies in town, the sisters were frustrated with the lack of
attention to their family's needs. They decided to create their
own solution.
The philosophy behind Care Matters is to
provide caring, quality assistance to those in need and to help relieve
the stress on family members who are caring for their loved ones. Our
solutions provide clients with a higher quality of life by
allowing them to live at home, where they want to be, as long as
possible.
We will meet with you or your loved one and
develop a care plan that meets and exceeds their needs and
expectations. We also will assist with coordinating other local
services that can help your loved ones meet the challenges of everyday
life.
Some of the benefits of in-home care include:
- * May help prevent or postpone hospital or nursing home care
- * Allows maximum freedom and comfort for the individual
- * Offers individualized care tailored to the needs of the individual and family
- * Provides professionally supervised services
- * Supports families while keeping them together
